Vintage Indigo Katazome Cotton Piece with Chrysanthemum

A vintage Japanese indigo katazome cotton featuring a chrysanthemum design with flowing arabesque motifs.

The lightweight cotton has a slightly open weave and a soft, gauze-like feel. The pattern is dyed on both sides of the fabric, giving it a beautiful depth of indigo and making either side suitable for use. Suitable for stitching and textile projects, as a wall hanging, or even worn as a short scarf.

It is in good vintage condition with some small holes along the selvedge.
